I was there in Germany for the World cup... you shouldn't have won it, yeah a strong team, good players but there was a little incident against (I think it was Australia) which I didn't agree with. I can't remember why now but it bugged me then lol.
Is Switzerland a good team? I need to go to bbc sports and see how we're doing

Not so ...
It's not for the offside, it's for the guy outside the field ...
I quote rules
If play is off the field without his wantings the game is to ended in that moment, especially if team is in scoring chance.

it was not look at a guy behind his own net there was no stop play to get him there, he left on game play.. so definitely no offside...

There was supposed to be stop of game as soon as posible, and indirect kick from where the ball last been ...
So if guys left the game without his want the game must be ended

Re: Euro 2008 Sweepstake
I'm quietly confident about the Spanish group.. regardless of how out of touch I am with football.
I'll look forward to the match.. even though I'll have missed most of it because I won't be home till maybe half 5 - 6.

it's only about fair-play....
anyway Holland is far better than Itally today.. look at Snejder's goal.. it's nearly as good as van Basten's on final 20 years ago

Re: Euro 2008 Sweepstake
it's really sad in Italy newspapers & TV will talk next 4 months about this offside or not-offside, after italian players got the ball 5 times in 90 mins
As i've already told, there will be a total failure, for Italy, and FD too
C'moon Croatia, we can do it!!!!

Re: Euro 2008 Sweepstake
as you well should CBJ... i had Spain down as my winners for a long time and going on tonights performance im not about to change my mind... off the ball movement was superb (fabregas run on the 4th goal!), technically they were superb. Russia are a hard team to beat but spain rolled over them most of the match... needless ot say the locals here are partying like theyve just won it
