Well, the easy solution is to never do maths 
, but it was compulsory for my school: In aus, we have an HSC (Higher School Certificate), and my school has min. 13 subjects...English+Maths are compulsory

Thats pretty weird. I go to a selective High School in Wollongong (had to do a test to get in)

Yeah I do 10 units and English advanced is compulsory. If you do maths you have to do advanced minimum
