Santa is an invention of the capitalist West. We PCP members believe in true humanity, generosity and compassion that is not used once a year as a gimmick for comercialism.

I knew those PCP'ers are evil! Here's proof! They blacken Santa's name with these groundless accusations!

Technically, I never stopped believing in Santa, because I never believed in Santa in the first place.

Shadow, twaters doesn't drink milk...

And i don't hate Santa. I hate what lies behind Santa: the selfish pursuit of wealth at the expense of everyone else.

Can you put a price on a child's happiness? Do you hate children waking up on Christmas morning, shaking with excitement, watching there little faces light up as they tear off the paper to a new action man. Do you hate the 1 thing that brings families together once a year? Do you hate the generosity of those who give to the less fortunate?

Sad

Sad

Drug addicts are happy to receive their next fix. I don't like capitalist indoctrination.

Of course not. But i'd rather society focussed on bringing families together (and it's not the only thing in most families) all year round. And i'd love to see people giving to the less fortunate out of genuine compassion and empathy, all year round, not just a farcical donation because adverts guilt them into it.

When did you stop believing in Santa? - Page 2 Empty Re: When did you stop believing in Santa?

Post by EmerickciremE Thu Dec 04, 2008 12:39 pm

When I was young, I was in my room talking to my mom about what Santa would bring me that year. Then my older sister burst into the room and screamed, "Santa isn't real! Shut up!" I cried for an hour.

Talking to her the next day, I got it out of her that her friend told her that her dad had told her that Santa didn't exist.

Using my superior logic, I remembered that the girl was a complete bitch, and Santa just never visited her. And after concluding that she was a bitch, it was reasonable that he parents her douches, too, so they've never gotten presents from Santa. Therefore, I decided, some families just never got anything from Santa, and that's where the myth of Santa not being real came from.

Same thing with God.

Yup, because every single situation is exactly the same...

Some people never looked to learn anything, and ignored any attempts that people made to teach them. As a result they never did. Does that mean learning is impossible, or that there's nothing to learn?
