Sleeper hits
Are there any games that you saw on offer, or randomly thought I will give it a go, that turned out to be an awesome game?
I was in Game the other day and saw Mass Effect for £20 played it and absolutely love it

Re: Sleeper hits
I got Mass Effect on release day, pretty good.
I'm not a fan of the crazy combat system, although I know KIA likes it just fine so maybe that's just me. The storyline aspect is really well done though.

Re: Sleeper hits
I've done that sort of thing with films, but not games.
Closest i've came to that is when I first got my playstation (wow, takes me back to when I was a kipper). Anyway. My parents bought it me as a christmas present with three games.
A snowboarding game, some other which i forget, and Final Fantasy VII.
And obviously, being the geek that I tend to sometimes be, I loved it.
It's nice when you get/see/do something by chance and it turns out to be great.

Re: Sleeper hits
P.S.
My parents didn't buy me a memory card, so for the first couple of months of playing it I would have to leave the playstation on for days.
I swear, I've played the first few hours of FF7 more than anyone else in the world.

Re: Sleeper hits
mass effect is a total kotor ripoff.
kotor is better even and more variation.
better puzzles too.
mass effect has like 1.
the fighting is a tiny bit better (not totally turn based). but you cant use the force so that stinks :p.
anyways, if you liked mass effect, play kotor (or kotor II).
