Functionality was a nightmare, however, I had problems scrolling using my scroll button (having to use the silly on-screen scrollbar instead) and with posting on this forum.Jasperking wrote:Please do not download Safari for windows. It is not even as half as great as the Apple version so Firefox beats it Also the font smotthing on the windows version is aweful as stated.
Even better yet stick with firefox and get this:

Speed dial is the most wonderful invention known to man, even better than tabbed browsing.
Therefore Opera (9.5) wins in my book with bonus points of:
Loading quickest.
Rendering quickest.
PASSING ACID3.

Speed dial? An invention so wonderful it makes the people who use it forget all their important telephone numbers...

No, he means This.
You add in the websites you regularly visit so that when you open a new tab, you can click on the button to be taken to that particular website. I must admit it is very handy, along with a host of other features opera has.

Speed Dial isn't just for Opera. It is also an add-on for Firefox too.

Re: FireFox Vs. Internet Explorer + Others
I haven't tried out that speed-dial feature, but from the description given it doesn't seem to be any improvement than just middle-clicking a link on the Firefox bookmarks toolbar for getting to specific sites quickly.

I won without campaigning. Hardly anybody in Leeds actually uses these forums, despite me pm-ing the link to everyone without an account last month and I'm doubtful that many of them read the media either, so I probably won because people recognise my name from gift-giving and the odd pm I send out.

Aye: that would figure. I do the occasionaly accusation that you're inactive: but I know that when I started out in Leeds you brought me up to 100 wellness in no time at all.Alain Bates wrote:I won without campaigning.
